PORTRAITS

Growing up, one of my favorite segments in Sports Illustrated was called “Faces in the Crowd.” It celebrated everyday people achieving extraordinary athletic feats. Inspired by that, I created the series “PORTRAITS FROM THE COMMUNITY” in honor of AAPI Heritage Month. My goal is to highlight everyday Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders who are making remarkable contributions to their communities.

These portraits are not for sale, but I hope to turn this series into an exhibition where the individuals featured can connect, share ideas, and inspire and support one another. I’ve been fortunate to meet and collaborate with many amazing people featured in this series, and I look forward to continuing to add to it.
