Anna Huang and Chloe Chan co-founded the Mott Street Girls in 2020 with the mission of making Chinese American history and culture more accessible to the public. They achieve this by hosting Chinatown walking tours, creating educational social media content, and partnering with community organizations. Their efforts aim to preserve Chinatown’s rich cultural heritage, support local businesses, and share the stories of the community.
They were the secret ingredient behind the success of my show, Drawn Together, at Pearl River Mart. They curated the pieces, secured the location, and helped promote the exhibition.
