Jourdan Delacruz

Jourdan Delacruz is a Filipino American weightlifter who, according to NBCOLYMPICS.com, qualified for the Paris Games as the fourth-ranked lifter in the women’s 49kg (108 pounds) weight class.

Jourdan won her first World Weightlifting Championships medals by finishing third in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she lifted 88kg (194 pounds) in the snatch and 112kg (246 pounds) in the clean and jerk.

She will compete on Wednesday, August 7th. This is Jourdan’s second Olympics; she also competed at the 2020 Tokyo Games but did not medal. Both of her parents are weightlifters, and she was a competitive cheerleader before switching to weightlifting. Let’s go, Jourdan! Go #TEAMUSA!
