Jourdan Delacruz. Jorudan, is Filipino American and according to NBCOLYMPICS.com she qualified for the Paris games as the four-ranked lifter in the women’s 49kg (108 pounds) weight class.

Jourdan Delacruz won her first world weightlifting championships medals, finishing third in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, she lifted 88kg (194 pounds) in the snatch and 112kg (246 pounds) in the clean and jerk.

Jourdan will compete on Wednesday, August 7th. This is Jourdan’s second Olympics she also competed in 2020 games in Tokyo, where she did not medal. Jourdan’s parents are both weight lifters, she was a competitive cheerleader before switching to weightlifting! Let’s go Jourdan! Go #TEAMUSA.
