A drawing of the now-closed Grand Canyon Café, reimagined by the artist as illuminated at night in Flagstaff, AZ. The Wong family opened the Grand Canyon Café in 1942 as a family-run restaurant, serving a blend of Asian and Western dishes to the community for an impressive 74 years. Over time, Flagstaff’s Asian population has remained around 2%. Although the café closed its doors in 2016, the iconic signage still stands as a tribute to this legendary establishment.
