Drawing of the Chinese American Museum Los Angeles (CAMLA). Established in 2003, CAMLA is located in the historic Garnier Building, one of the last remaining structures from Old Chinatown before the neighborhood was demolished to make way for the construction of Union Station between 1933 and 1938. CAMLA is dedicated to researching, preserving, and sharing the experiences and contributions of Chinese Americans in the United States through high-quality exhibitions, programs, events, publications, and workshops.
