The building that houses the Chinese American Museum of Chicago has lived many lives. Once home to the Quong Yick Co. warehouse, the museum moved into the space in 2005, only to face a devastating fire in 2008. With the unwavering support of dedicated community partners and friends, the building and its collection were painstakingly rebuilt. Today, it proudly stands as the only Chinese American museum in the Midwest.
