The fourth drawing in my series “Portraits from the Community” is Rohan Zhou-Lee @diaryofafriebird. Rohan Zhou-Lee is a queer/non-binary Black Asian writer, dancer, trumpeter and community organizer in New York City. Rohan has done so much amazing work including creating the The Blasian March and The Blasian Book Fair. The Blasian March begins its 2023 series of New York City in-person actions in Chinatown with the second annual Black Asian Book Fair, which gives free literature from Black, Asian, and Blasian writers to the attendees to foster understanding across communities.
