Kam Hing Coffee Shop is a multigenerational family-owned bakery that opened in 1984. The shop was founded by Mr. Zeng, who immigrated to the US from Guangdong, China. Mr. Zeng first opened the shop after learning a sponge cake recipe from a relative. Upon his retirement, he sold the business to John Yee, who had been a longtime customer of the shop. The business is currently run by Liz Yee, John Yee’s daughter. She has expanded the menu to include many different sponge cake flavors. However, the shop has not lost sight of its roots; it still serves its famous original sponge cake recipe and remains a favorite of Chinatown seniors who enjoy its subtly sweet flavors.
Limited Edition Prints: All archival prints are printed on canvas and come with at least 1.5 inch bleed so they can be stretched and framed. They are also hand embellished with a splash of color, signed, numbered, and dated. This is the inaugural set of prints, and will be limited to 5 total prints of each piece. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shipping.
